May be you know the basic tricks but here is some advanced tricks you must know to become power user of google searching. Here is some advanced google operator list you must know

You can search to many thing by this operators. This operator will also remove some unwanted result. So you have only usefull things to see. You can also use this operator in combination.

 

(1)OR:  with help of this operator you can search either this or both keywords in search result. OR always in capital leters. Or you can use pipe sign | in search queries.

 Microsoft OR Apple or Microsoft | Apple

(2)AND:  with this operator you can search which contain both words in result. This is also a logical operator.

(3)*: This is a wild card operator. You can find result between where * sign is used.

Online  * tips

(4)-(minus):  This operator will exclude the the given words from your search result.

Apple –iphone

(5)””:  This operator will bring you exact match for your words from search results.

“tallest building”

(6)define: This will give you a meaning of given word. Works like a mini dictionary.

define :Computers

(7)site: if you want to search from a specific website then you can use this operator.or you can use it for specific domain search.

(8)related: if you want to find similar website of your. This operator will give you all site name realated to your search:

(9)filetype: if you want search a result with specific file then this operator will use. you can search pdf,doc,xls,etc with this operator.

(10)source:This will search a news from its google news sources and give you a result you want.

(12)AROUND(X): Find pages containing two words or phrases within X words of each other. For this example, the words “apple” and “iphone” must be present in  given four words.

(17)intext: Find pages containing a certain word  somewhere in the content. For this example, any results containing the word “apple” in the page content will be returned.

(18)allintext: Similar to “intext,” but only results containing all of the specified words somewhere on the page will be returned.
